Fellas, there is no way around it, we need each other. But whether you realize it or not, our culture tries to say otherwise, encouraging men everywhere to embrace a “lone wolf” mentality. Sadly, too many men fall for this and as a result, are untethered, unchallenged, and unaccountable for their thoughts and actions. The fact is, God designed us to be in closely-bonded brotherhoods where we help each other grow—an “iron sharpening iron” kind of environment.

My guest today is Doug Cole. He isn’t a celebrity, pastor, or the like but an everyday dude with a deep need for Christian brotherhood in his life. As a result, he founded S.W.O.R.D. Brothers, an online group ministry for men who are passionate about Jesus Christ and fulfilling the High Calling that He placed upon their lives.

In this episode, we talk about Doug’s faith journey, the story behind S.W.O.R.D. Brothers, the unbreakable bond that exists in a Christian brotherhood of men who seek Christ together, and ways to achieve finding your own band of brothers.
